UPDATE – I am just off Skype with Mark, & I been asked to change some of the text in the post.
As I mention in the post, Mark had run two WSO’s, it turns out that the WSO’s had sold 125 copies between the $7 & the $18! Mark also mentioned that he had been online since ’97. I have also changed the URL that linked to his site.
I have recently found a man by the name of Mark Lyford, now Mark’s story is very interesting. Mark has been making money online for 5 or so month’s & has set his own challenge to make himself $1 million. He has a mentor who you can find over at Brad Gosse, Mark might only have been online for about 5 or so month’s but he is already upto $5K/month, with is quite awesome & here is how he has started off.
He produced 30 – 30 second music tracks and sold them as a WSO (Warrior Special Offer) for $7! 24 hours in to the WSO and it had been pulled in around $260 (I might be wrong) but for a 24 hour period that is not too shabby is it?
The next WSO was for 70 music tracks for $18.00! As for the sales it pulled in, I have no idea, but I say it have been around the $500 spot. (Mark, If you read this, contact me to let me know!)
He had been online in the early ’90′s and got to know Brad, that’s how they knew each other.
Three wee things before I sign off this post.
- The Adult Industry – this is where these two guys started out online, hence how they knew each other, through the websites they ran.
- Mark was (probably still is, but if he keeps going at this pace, not for look) $400,000 is debt.
- Mark was locked up, yes, he was in prison folks, I have left this to the last as I didn’t want it to cloud your judgement.

Mark’s story is indeed very inspiring.
I think, however, that maybe even Mark himself underestimates his own abilities.
Anyone who is interested in learning how to make money online will soon enough come across an oft-repeated statistic -that 95% of all those who attempt to earn a living online end up failing.
Now, let me just qualify that with the warning that no-one can possibly know that with any degree of accuracy, and it is therefore, like many statistics, made up, plucked directly from someone’s imagination.
But, having said that, it is probably fairly accurate, and I know that from a certain amount of personal experience, having coached a good few clients in the past year or so.
The difference between a ‘Mark Lyford’ and a ‘Wannabe non-achiever’ becomes quite clear when you deal with a cross section of joe public as a coach; All ‘wannabe’ really wants is immediate access to the elusive and mysterious big red shiny button that, once pressed, will yield torrents of cash directly into his or her bank account.
A Mark Lyford’, however, is hard wired with grit, determination, energy, a thirst for knowledge and an impressive work ethic.
The good news for newbies is that is possible to develop these quantities, if you have not been blessed with a natural abundance of them – but first you have to establish which of these characters types you fall into, and be brutally honest with yourself when you decide!

I have heard that statistic before many times, I think Mark is different though, he has been there before & he wants to get back there again. I could be wrong on that but we will only find out in time.
